Hello, I am Captain James Trimble Jr. I have been a professional fishing guide and tournament fisherman in the Galveston Bay System since 1987. Through out my career I have also fished in Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida both as a guide and a tournament participant. These experiences have given me the knowledge to become one of the most capable fishermen on the Gulf Coast and place me at the forefront of my field.My history allows me to guide the highest level angler as well as the novice. In addition to the ability to guide for all types of fisherman, I can also accommodate any style of fishing. Whether the angler is presenting a fly to a fish within our sight or a young fisherman is experiencing their first cast, I can share the knowledge needed to make that cast a successful one. 

My boat is an 18' Hell's Bay Waterman. I offer half and full day trips for 1-2 people targeting Redfish, Speckled Trout, and Tarpon (seasonal). I am also available to fish in Tournaments and to pre-fish for Tournaments. I fish with conventional tackle as well as fly tackle focusing on the back bays of the Galveston Bay System. Sight fishing is always my first plan of attack; however, I never hesitate to read the water and cast repeatedly. 

I promote catch and release, but I understand a reasonable amount of table fare. I work hard to make each guided trip a special experience and a memory of a lifetime. I look forward to meeting you and fishing with you soon!
